Universal Tax Filer is an initiative of SLS Solutions LLC. We are a distributed practice — our associates work remotely and file for clients in all fifty states — preparing U.S. returns since 2017 for individuals, freelancers, visa holders and small businesses.
What we believe
Most people do not find tax filing difficult because the arithmetic is hard. They find it difficult because nobody explains what is happening, the price changes at the end, and the person who prepared the return is unreachable by the time a letter arrives.
We built the practice around fixing those three things specifically: one named preparer who owns your return, a fee agreed in writing before any work starts, and a team that answers the phone in October as readily as in April.
Credentials
Returns are prepared and reviewed by qualified tax professionals. Representation before the IRS is handled by a credentialed practitioner authorized to practice before it, which is why we are able to take on audits and notices for returns we did not prepare.
